Dramatic video shows woman and her dog being rescued from sinking car

A woman and her small dog were rescued from her sinking vehicle in Baton Rogue, Louisiana, just seconds before it was submerged in water on Saturday. 

In the clip, a rescue boat can be seen approaching and then attempting to break the window of a partially submerged vehicle as it slowly slips deeper into the water.

"Oh my god I'm drowning," a woman says from inside the vehicle. 

After numerous failed attempts at breaking the window, rescuer David Phung jumps into the water and starts to tear the convertible's roof apart. As the roof opens the water rushes in and Phung pulls the woman from the vehicle.  Read more...
